The guest for this episode is the Scandinavian blackened ambient multi-instrumentalist Sylvaine, the musical monitor of Kathrine Shepard. Her latest album, Atoms Aligned, Coming Undone, released late last year via Season Of Mist was nominated for the Spellemannprisen, often referred to as the Norwegian Grammy Awards. She is the first ever female artist to be nominated for the award in the Metal category since they added the category to Spellemannprisen in 2001.
During our chat we talked about her vision for her music, making music by herself, her experiences with parents that were in the music industry, how she goes through her days, how her music has been acclaimed in Scandinavia with the Spellemannprisen nomination, the Norway metal scene today, her musical tastes, her latest album Atoms Aligned, Coming Undone, where she gets inspiration, the effects of doing yoga, and the nature, society, and culture of Norway.
