Boris at Saint Andrews Hall in Detroit Twins of Evil Tour w/ Melvins September 13th, 2023

On September 13th, the iconic Japanese metal band Boris unleashed a seismic sonic assault upon the eager crowd at Saint Andrews Hall in Detroit, sharing the stage with the legendary Melvins their double headliner Twins of Evil Tour, where Boris plays their 2002 album Heavy Rocks in its entirety and Melvins play their Bullhead album plus other songs.

This unforgettable night was a mesmerizing collision of heavy riffs, thunderous drums, and ethereal melodies, leaving the audience in a state of awe and sonic ecstasy. The stage was ablaze with raw energy as Boris and the Melvins showcased their unrivaled mastery of the metal genre.

Boris, along with Third Man Records, recently re-released the Heavy Rocks album on vinyl and digital formats for the first time ever (plus a CD format re-press). The reissue was restored from the original TD master. To purchase or stream, GO HERE!
