As a longtime fan of the wicked shit, I was more than excited when the 3 Headed Monster Tour was announced featuring Detroit “acid rap” originator Esham, “The Duke of the Wicked” Violent J of the Insane Clown Posse, and the newest face of Juggalo music Ouija Macc.
Along with the tour, a whole collaborative album between the three titled Obliteration is now available on all streaming platforms and it crushes! The trio kicked off the tour at The Crofoot in Pontiac, MI on May 30th with a series of opening acts including Shaggytheairhead and Darby O’Trill, a couple artists bringing a breath of fresh air to the Juggalo world.
The trio performed a merry-go-round of songs from each of their catalogs along with past collaborations. Instead of necessarily playing their hits, there was a mood to the song selection that parallels to the big monster theme of the project. For someone that has seen all three of these artists live many times, this was quite the unique experience and it was just flat out fun!
