Grammy nominated music producer/performer Nicolay, who is one-half of The Foreign Exchange with Phonte Coleman (Little Brother), has been a friend and great supporter of mine since the beginning of the Renaissance Soul website back in 2001. I’ve also been the opening DJ for The Foreign Exchange on three occasions during their tour stops in Detroit in the past. I’ve long been a fan of Nicolay and the artists he works with. One of the great things about The Foreign Exchange collective is throughout time, they bring in new voices and players into the fold.
Nicolay just dropped his newest single “No More Waiting” that he produced along with Creative Theory (who is also on lead vocals) and features additional vocals from JJ. The single includes two additional versions and the instrumental.
